Founded in 1974 by Clare Shoemaker and his family, Shoemaker Drywall Supplies (SDS) has grown into one of the largest drywall suppliers in Western Canada, operating 11 branches across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Managed by the second generation of the Shoemaker family alongside over 200 dedicated team members, SDS offers a wide range of products including drywall, insulation, ceiling systems, roofing, siding, steel studs, tools, and more. In 2009, SDS merged with Watson Building Supplies and the Beauchesne Group to form WSB Titan, the largest independently owned drywall supplier in Canada with 23 locations across six provinces. Despite its expansion, SDS maintains its original values of a dedicated work ethic focused on customer service and relationships.
