Seprotech Systems Incorporated is a Canadian engineering companywhich has established itself as a leader in the application of crossflow filtration technology ( Reverse Osmosis,
Nanofiltration, Ultrafiltration and Microfiltration) to a variety of industrial fluid treatment problems. The Company designs, manufactures and services systems which are used for water purification, wastewater treatment and production process applications.

The use of membrane technology to reduce the volume of waste effluent and recover valuable materials has been proven to be a cost effective and efficient treatment process. The Company has designed and built a wide variety of membrane-based systems and has experience with many different membrane types (polymeric,
ceramic, metallic, etc) and configurations (spiral wound, tubular, hollow fibre, monolith, etc).

The Company provides complete turnkey solutions to its customersand offers pilot testing and technology evaluation services.
Seprotech also operates a CAEAL certified environmental analytical laboratory.


Environmental Profile

Seprotech has designed and built a wide variety of membrane-based systems, and has experience with many different membrane types (polymeric, ceramic, metallic, etc.) and configurations (spiral wound, tubular, hollow fibre, monolithic, etc.). The Company maintains excellent working relationships with many of the world's most reputable membrane manufacturers. Seprotech is uniquely positioned to select the ideal membrane for each application and prides itself as an unbiased membrane systems integrator. The Company views its role in the industry as that of an independent systems engineering and manufacturing firm which selects and integrates the most appropriate commercially available membranes and other system components to meet any customer's fluid treatment application.


Seprotech has extensive experience in water treatment and production systems. The following is a representative list of projects Seprotech has completed.


Supply of potable water from brackish wells or seawater. Ultrapure water production systems. Recycling of bottle rinse water in beverage industry. Treatment of radioactive wastewater. Custom materials fabrication. Treatment of dairy wastewater. Brine clarification systems. Oily-wastewater treatment systems. Caustic (CIP) solution reclaim.


Seprotech also engineers and provides any required pre-treatment and post-treatment equipment. To date the Company has designed and constructed systems using rotary screen filters, dissolved air flotation, various standard media filtration, and a variety of chemical adjustment techniques as pre-treatment technologies. Post-treatment unit operations that have been provided as part of integrated treatment systems include deionization, UV sterilization, oxidation technologies, and others.


Seprotech provides complete turnkey project services including delivery, installation and commissioning, management, and operator training.


Seprotech operates a state-of-the-art, certified environmental testing laboratory. The laboratory services are widely used by consulting engineers, industry, and government organizations. Seprotech offers expert analytical laboratory services to its customers in support of feasibility and process development efforts and/or with ongoing environmental compliance requirements.


Seprotech has extensive experience in cross-flow membrane technology and has a diverse client base throughout Canada, the United States, Mexico and Chile.
