PROFILON ® AX A1 has been used for over 25 years for the protection of government facilities, embassies and the military as well as thousands of corporate facilities concerned about multiple threats ranging from burglary to terrorist bombing. It has been extensively tested to virtually every standard for shock waves and is the most versatile of all security films on the market.

Security Technologies was founded in 1993 as the North American distributor of PROFILON ® window security films. PROFILON ® is a leader in security films and was originally developed in Europe to protect individuals against shards of flying glass caused by terrorist bombings. PROFILON ® was the first security film acknowledged by Underwriters Laboratories as burglary resistive under their classification 972/ UL/c S332 and PROFILON ® ER1 was the first 4 ply security film developed and tested successfully to the ER1 blast mitigation standard in Europe.
