Kingston Student Housing, Science '44 Co-op has been providing affordable housing to students in Kingston since 1941. Today Sci '44 can accommodate 172 students in our 22 houses near the Queen's University campus. The diversity of our members is what fuels our unique service. Students from all faculties and all post-secondary institutions are welcome. In co-operative housing, the residents are the owners, which means there is a staff but no landlord. The residents make decision about the house that best suit their needs as opposed to the interests of the landlord. This approach in providing housing makes Kingston's Student Housing Co-operative a great option for many students.
