Tradeworks was one of the original social enterprises we started working with in 2008 as we began to discover the social side of sustainability. They create jobs for women with multiple barriers to employment in Vancouver's downtown eastside. Tradeworks provides training in life and employment skills, and hands-on work experience in trade carpentry. After finishing the Tradeworks program, each graduate is ready to sustain themselves with solid employment.
