Description

SAKITAWAK DEVELOPMENT CORP. is a municipal development corporation wholly owned by the Northern Village of Ile-a-la-Crosse. The Corporation was established in 1989 and has successfully invested many regional and community businesses that operate in different sectors of the Northern economy. The mission of SDC is to develop, maintain and expand the economic base of Ile-a-la-Crosse. By doing so, Sakitawak can benefit the 1,600 residents of the Village. SDC has refined and adapted its investment criteria to provide the maximum degree of benefit to the community’s residents.
