The tremendous growth in the popularity of the rotational molding process over the years has been driven by two factors: the tooling to produce the parts is generally inexpensive compared to other processes and leadtimes to build molds are quite short. Moreover, the industry of rotomolding has evolved from simple parts such as water tanks to complex designs that still fascinate the experts mainly because the process allows for designs that would be impossible with most other processes.
