Boundary Dam, Saskatchewan In 2010, SNC-Lavalin was awarded a lump sum contract to provide engineering, procurement and construction services for SaskPower's Boundary Dam integrated carbon capture and sequestration demonstration project in Canada. The project will reduce the aging coal plant's greenhouse gas emissions by some 1.3 million tonnes of CO² per year using state-of-the-art project implementation tools such as the Intergraph Smart plant design system.
