Description

Ski-Line Inline Skis Welcome to Ski-Line Inline Skis, the ultimate off-season training tool for alpine skiers. Work on your skiing skills, stance and balance, pivot and steering, edging, pressure control, and timing and coordination. You got it all, train for slalom, GS or Super G, Downhill or just improve on your overall skiing technique. But before we get there let's start at the beginning. How to Get Started Before we go anywhere we have to remember to put on all the safety gear. Because of the type of training you'll be doing, you don't want to be worrying about unforeseen events - that's when something happens. So plan ahead and put on the gear: knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, helmet, and finally sunglasses "“ protection against the sun and the flying insects. Poles Use an old pair of ski poles and attach the rubber tips provided. This will protect the tip of the pole and will also give you better grip on asphalt or concrete. Hold on to the poles and don't use the straps. If you have to bail out, you don't want the poles anywhere near you; if you go down hands first, you don't want the straps to wrench your thumbs. You may want to remove the straps all together. Putting on your Ski-Line Inline Skis First, adjust the binding for your boot size. Simply lift up the tab and move the toe and heel piece until the center of the boot sole is lined up with the center of the binding. The toe lever should close smoothly and snugly. Then, place one of the Ski-Line Inline Skis on the clip - which keeps Ski-Line Inline Ski steady - while lining up your boot into the binding.. Place your ski boot in the binding and pull up the toe lever. Repeat the process with the other ski. Before you go any further check out our techniques page and try out the listed maneuvers on the flats first! WARNING Inline skiing is a hazardous sport performed on an inherently unstable platform.
