Description

Selections staff work closely with clients to uncover their personal visions for employment, provide work skills training and find the right fit between employee and employer. This work has resulted in many successful long-term matches that benefit employers and employees alike. Selections staff also work closely with employer partners to match clients to entry-level positions that are often difficult to fill. Clients are pre-screened to find the best match for the position; on-site support is provided through orientation and training; and, as time progresses, supports are adjusted to match the needs of both employer and employee. With Selections' support, persons with development disabilities become productive participants in their workplaces and communities, becoming less dependent and feeling less isolated.
