When Ruth met Micah from Working with Wood Custom Homes Ltd. on a Condo renovation in Vancouver, she was immediately impressed with the workmanship she saw. One thing lead to another, and Micah asked us if we were interested in designing Barry and Linda's new home in Maple Ridge. After our first meeting, we knew this was the perfect client/designer match. We had fun and I know they did, also! The detail and finishing of the final product was some of the best I had ever seen. Truly a great family home, and we enjoyed working with our client in developing this plan. Initially, it seemed simple until we discovered a municipal sewer easement which disected this spectacular lot in half, and nothing could be built on it. Hmmm, now what? After a roll or two of trace paper, it made sense to place the house immediately to the north, and the pool to the south of the easement. It turned out just fine.
