The principals of the company, Tony and Gillean Daffern, have been hiking, climbing and ski touring in mountain areas around the world for over 30 years and have extensive knowledge of the Canadian Rockies.A member of the Book Publisher's Association of Alberta, Rocky Mountain Books has been publishing outdoor recreation books since 1979.
