In 2002 Reid Music added the Yamaha Music School to its music education program. This is essentially a program that gives group lessons in music to young children while accompanied by their parents. In this environment both the parent and the child learn activities that teach the rudiments of music in a fun and progressive atmosphere. Since its start, enrollment in this program has double each year. This is attributed to both a well-developed program from Yamaha and excellent direction by Ms. Jennifer Percy (B.Mus., B.Mus.Ed., M.Ed.) a certified Yamaha Instructor.
