We feel that there is no better investment in life than an investment in your health; none of your material possessions are significant without it. Yes, we are a little biased, but we know from experience that many people need to re-prioritize where they are spending their money. I need to get in shape before I work with a Trainer. A good trainer will help you work through the initial challenges of an exercise program and get you achieve the best start possible. There is no experience required to start a fitness regime; a Trainer's goal is to teach and support you. A Trainer is going to push me too hard or hurt me. A good Trainer knows that (s)he cannot treat all the clients the same and must be able to adapt their approach to each individual client's needs. Each workout should progress slowly in intensity; the Trainer will use feedback from the client to determine how to proceed during the program. When a client says that they feel pain, the Trainer should modify the exercises or change them entirely. Pain is not something that people need to experience in order to be healthy.

Personal Training Our primary focus at Refine Fitness Studio is Personal Training and Group Training. If you are simply looking for "another gym" to workout at on your own gym we may not be the place for you. If you value the help and guidance of professionals and are willing and dedicated to make some changes to your lifestyle, then we are definitely the place for you. My business is about relationships; this is truly what separates Refine Fitness Studio from any other facility. With this in mind, I want to tell you a little about myself and my journey that brought me to where I am at today. While the following story is largely about me it is also a way for me to say thanks to the many people that have helped me along the way. In no way is this journey complete but I can tell you I am very happy (more than just content) with what I have achieved so far ...... how many people can truly say that? Growing up I had part time jobs delivering papers that taught me a lot about work ethic and running my own business. I was motivated to make money but also sincerely enjoyed taking care of my clients. Instilled in me at a young age, these qualities are the driving force of how I run my business. During my high school days most of my time was spent playing sports year round, in particular track and basketball, but I also played volleyball and ran cross country. I was not one of those athletes that was gifted with natural talent; I had to work hard for everything I wanted to accomplish.

I won’t be able to keep up with the workouts. Every exercise program ever designed can be modified to meet your age, experience and individual needs. If you have had a bad experience in the past because your exercise program was too hard, your options are to give up or try again. It’s your choice.

I love my job. To me, there is nothing more satisfying than watching someone transform into the person they’ve always wanted to be. I love empowering people by turning them into efficient problem solvers. It is very rewarding to provide my clients with the support system they need not only to achieve their goals, but to maintain them for life.
