Recon Air Corporation is a Transport-Canada Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Organization License #AMO69-91. Recon Air Corporation has been in operation in the Greenstone ares for sixteen years. Recon Air owns a 10,000 square foot hanger with 34 foot tail-height door clearance and an adjoining 5,000 squair foot hanger. The Corporation maintains several locally-based aircrafts owned and operated by local fly-in fishing and hunting camp operators and also on occasions to salvage and repair aircraft downed or damaged in local or area accidents. In recent years Recon Air Corporation has developed a significant new business, rebuilding damaged DeHavilland DHC-3 Otter aircraft and converting them to turbo-engine power. Recon Air has recently refurbished, (inside and out) Aero-Commanders and Cessna aircraft which operate under contract with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources.
