Well known and highly respected in the Greater Toronto planning community, Allan brings nearly 30 years of experience in land use planning, policy development, development planning, and public consultation. Prior to founding his own private practice, Allan held senior positions with the Town of Oakville and City of Burlington Planning Departments. Allan provides professional planning services to a variety of public and private sector projects. He has been project manager for the preparation of comprehensive Official Plans and area specific secondary plans. He has undertaken planning research and completed land use studies dealing with a wide range of issues including commercial policies, employment land needs, housing and intensification and growth management. He has provided professional planning advice and analysis on development applications, policy proposals, land evaluations, expropriations and other planning issues. His experience also includes undertaking community consultation and public meeting facilitation and providing mediation and negotiation services.
