RJ’s Moving was founded in 1969, by Robert James Millar. The goal was to provide London with an honest, dependable, high quality delivery service. Starting out with a pick-up truck and trailer, store deliveries were a huge part of his business. Within 6 months, some of these delivery clients inquired about RJ’s doing their moves.

In 1970, he purchased his first full sized moving truck. Although the fleet has remained relatively small, it was his mission to have high quality service over a large fleet. Keeping it as a smaller, independent, family run business, it allows us to personally connect with all our customers, and have full control of the daily operations. In 1974, he married Janet. Janet has had a dedicated role in managing the office, and works hands on with residential packing.
