Description
Jerry Jagt opened Painswick Motors in 1965. Painswick Motors began with two service bays and a full machine shop, which specialized in engine and automatic transmission rebuilding. A one-island gas bar was added in 1970, and the company was incorporated in 1977. Jerry’s son Ed joined the business part time in 1975 and then began his full time employment in 1979. Now a 3rd generation is working in the business; Kevin, Amanda and Nicole are all employed on a part-time basis.
