Our historical marketplace began within the confines of Prince Edward Island on Canada's east coast and expanded along with the PEI potato market in the 1940's and 50's. While we remain embedded in the Maritime market, we supply customers across the country and into the U.S. Our clients range from large international corporations to individuals who need a small quantity of bags. Many of our customers are dealers who operate sophisticated packaging warehouses and ship large volumes of potatoes or other produce.

PEI Bag has been providing these types of bags for over 30 years. Standard SOS-style sift-proof flour and sugar bags are manufactured to exacting specifications.

Our customer base is diverse, ranging from large international corporations to individuals needing a few bags to store garden produce. The majority of our customers are produce dealers who operate sophisticated packaging warehouses and ship large volumes produce to markets in Central Canada and the U.S. Customers also include exporters of fish products, shellfish, animal feeds and dry products such as sugar and flour. Our manufacturing base is located in Eastern Canada with distribution channels that service North America.

The PEI Bag Company stocks standard sizes of potato bulk bags also known as Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBC). These bags are made from woven polypropylene fabric and are designed to maximize storage and ventilation during transportation. We specialize in potato FIBCs, however, we can supply for other goods and industries. Features include: ventilation panels for airflow, variety of discharge spouts at the bottom, open top for easy filling and airflow, duffle top for protection during transport, and 4-loop design for forklift handling of product.

Our in-house printing capabilities allow us to brand your packaging with your design or to add text and images to individualize and identify your product. Printing is available in black and white or in a number of colours for custom designs, and we also supply generic labels and plain packages. Using our knowledge (SGS, OGI, Mirror Flex) of labeling and packaging, UPC, and the manufacturing process of paper and poly bags, we ensure that turnaround time is as quick as possible.
