Description

Photon Control Inc was formed to develop products which incorporate switches and sensors made from polymer optical fibres and low-cost plastic components, based on core technology owned and developed by the Company. Photon Control has completed development of the core technology for its initial medical applications, has received clearance from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its first medical product.

Photon Control Inc uses patented fibre optic control and sensing technology to improve safety, performance, ergonomics and costs of current electrical equipment, and to address unmet clinical needs in equipment control and patient monitoring. Company's business plan is to establish reliable high-margin cashflow from product improvement in existing markets, and to grow into large new markets by meeting critical clinical requirements.

Photon Control Inc. is marketing its fibre optic products to be used with functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI), or magnetoencephalography (MEG). Products are being sold in North America, Asia and Europe.
