PhotoCAD Inc. incorporated in July of 1990 as a supplier of computer aided design/drafting (CAD), electronic engineering and electronic product design services. Utilizing sophisticated
CAD software tools PhotoCAD provides design/drafting services for complex printed circuit boards, mechanical manufacturing documentation and turn key electronic product engineering of custom test equipment, instrumentation and industrial controls.
PhotoCAD supports this activity with on parts procurement, electro-mechanical assembly and product testing.

Over the years we have developed an extensive customer base - supplying a high quality, professional product, on time and within customer budgets. PhotoCAD services customers in the regions of Ottawa, Kingston, Montreal, Toronto and a number of
US government agencies. Our customers include Nortel, JDS
Uniphase, Canada Post Corporation, Department of National
Defence, Cogency Semiconductor, NASA and Toromont Industries to name a few; all of whom recognize PhotoCAD as a valued service provider for their electronic design and manufacturing needs.

PhotoCAD has won a variety of contracts with for example
Tyco Electronics, Mechron Power Systems, Routes
AtroEngineering, NavCANADA, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, U.S.
Federal Bureau of Investigation, Canadian Security
Etablishment and the Canadian government. Staffing levels were adjusted to acommodate for the increase in production and to better position PhotoCAD for future growth.
