Mr. Taylor is a geoscientist with over 20 years of experience in frontier, foothills, deep Devonian and heavy oil exploration. From 1994 to 1999, he was Vice President of Exploration at Canadian 88 Energy Corp. Mr. Taylor is currently the President & Chief Executive Officer of Villanova Oil Corp., a private oil and gas company focused on exploration and production in Western Canada.
Mr. Ostlund, Chartered Accountant, was appointed Chief Financial Officer in April 2009. Mr. Ostlund has 29 years of experience in the energy sector and has many years of chief financial officer experience with oil and gas companies listed on The Toronto Stock Exchange. Most Recently Mr. Ostlund was the Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Focus Energy Trust until its sale in February 2008.
