PL Light Systems develops and manufactures supplemental lighting systems for the horticultural industry. We offer a complete range of innovative fixtures, lamps and reflectors for optimized light distribution in a variety of technologies including LED, High Pressure Sodium (HPS), Metal Halide (MH), and Hybrid Systems. For each lighting solution, we provide a comprehensive light plan to ensure optimized crop growth through adequate light penetration and uniformity into the crop.

In North America, PL Light Systems will be contacting the existing Philips Indal horticultural clients and will be working with them to quantify their service and maintenance needs, and solutions to their service needs. To achieve this, PL Light Systems offers a wide range of service and maintenance services, including on-site supplemental lighting measurements, lamp and reflector measurements, trouble-shooting and repair maintenance, and automated reflector cleaning services. These services allow clients to optimise their systems and maximize cost savings.

Monster, May 2014 – Hortilux Schréder (Hortilux) has concluded an agreement with Philips Lighting under which Hortilux will be undertaking the warranty and service work for existing Philips Indal supplemental lighting systems for greenhouse horticulture. To deliver this service, Hortilux is taking over the entire stock of parts and production tools from Philips Indal Horticulture so that Hortilux is able to provide the full range of service and maintenance on these supplemental lighting systems, even after they are no longer covered by warranty.

The light conditions are not always suitable for growing plants in these environments. Growing light fixtures can provide a solution during periods of insufficient daylight, for example during the darker winter months. PL Light Systems has extensive experience with urban farming. All over the world urban-farming projects are already using grow light fixtures so that production can continue all year round. PL Light Systems’ low-energy fixtures fit in well with efforts to achieve sustainable production.

Hortilux develops and manufactures supplemental lighting systems for the horticultural industry. Hortilux offers a complete range of fixtures, lamps and reflectors for optimising light distribution. Hortilux has specialised in service and maintenance of supplemental lighting systems for greenhouses horticulture for 15 years. Hortilux is part of Dool Industries, consisting of a group of companies that are active in, amongst other things, supplemental lighting systems for the professional horticultural sector.
