PIC Investment Group's original corporation, Prairie Industrial Chemicals Ltd., was founded in 1976 as a small chemical distribution company with one supplier and four available products. Within the first four years this had grown to a company with sales in excess of five million dollars and branch offices and warehouses throughout the prairie provinces.

PIC Investment Group is a venture capital investment company focused on growth financing in the chemical industry, transportation industry, industrial real estate as well as northern Saskatchewan development through the outfitting industry.
