Vice-President (Artistic) Chantale has been in love with the theatre most of her life and has been a theatre practitioner for over 20 years. She has worked for many local Ottawa theatre companies both professional and community but calls the Ottawa Little Theatre home. At the OLT she is an actor, director, and served as Chair of the Learning Committee for five years. She studied professionally at Studio 58 in Vancouver and holds a Theatre Degree from Ottawa University. In her daylight hours she is a Senior Business Analyst for Service Canada, working hard on your CPP/OAS. She loves to walk her two wire fox terriers with her talented husband (also an OLT Veteran) Tim Ginley. In any other spare time she has, you can find her cooking clean cuisine or practicing yoga.

Professional in style, traditional in tone, Ottawa Little Theatre has been a vital part of the Ottawa arts community for over 100 years, making us the oldest on-going community theatre in North America. With a 462-seat auditorium, and fully licensed lobby, OLT is anything but "little". Between 50,000 and 60,000 patrons walk through our doors each season to enjoy our plays, special events and more.

ShapeShifter by Lynda Cronin 2013 Powder Coated Aluminum The Cornerstone sculpture plays upon the transformative power of props to create an ever-changing world on the stage. The work celebrates the many volunteers who dedicate their time to bringing imaginary worlds to life. The individuals and the props they engage with are akin to ShapeShifters, as they manoeuvre, grow and change their environment in the creation of live Theatre. Appearing on the work are the names of volunteers who have made an extraordinary contribution to the development of the Ottawa Little Theatre since it was founded in 1913 – the human cornerstones of its success.

The OLT’s play entry into the EODL One-Act Festival is generally chosen from among the winners of the OLT National One-Act Playwriting Competition founded in 1937. The OLT organizes workshopped readings of the winning plays each April under the guidance of a professional dramaturge. The playwrights (from coast-to coast in Canada) are invited to participate in the rehearsals.
