Optimil Machinery Inc. is a high quality designer andmanufacturer of state-of-the-art sawmill machinery. In business since 1983, the company has had average annual sales of
$30 million for the past three years. Optimil currently employs
150 people in management, design, fabrication, machining, assembly, painting and testing at its modern plant in Delta, B.C.

Our capability includes strong control systems, design,
manufacture, commissioning and service including robotics,
computer and P.L.C. support.

Optimil's main business is building new sawmill machinery andequipment. It also has developed a specialized expertise inrefitting older, less efficient sawmills with up-to-date highspeed, high-recovery upgrades. It also provides a parts servicefor its clients.

The objective of Optimil has been to establish a design, marketing and manufacturing capability with strong emphasis on state-of-the-art and innovative machine to fill sawmill industry needs.

The company presently operates a medium-size, modernmanufacturing facility serving mostly Canadian and American clients. Products include an extensive list of machinery and control systems for the sawmill industry.

Our main emphasis is on providing design, machinery and equipmentfor new high recovery, high production chipping and sawingsystems, and for updating existing machines and sawmill systems.
