Description

Founded in 1931, Ontario Nature works with over 150 member groups to protect Ontario’s habitats and wildlife, and connect people with nature, through research, conservation campaigns and public engagement.

Sarah joined Ontario Nature in August 2010 and oversees their Nature Guardians Youth Program, a youth-based environmental education initiative. Sarah has completed her B.Sc. in environmental science from Queen’s University, and has had significant experience working with children and youth from previous positions at a summer camp and an outdoor education centre. Sarah enjoys international travel and spending time at her cottage.

Advocate on behalf of nature. We continue to be a strong presence at Queen's Park, working with the government to create policies that protect wildlife and natural areas.

Educate the public on the importance of nature in all of our lives. We provide opportunities for youth and adults in every region of the province to learn more about nature and become actively engaged in the conservation movement.
