Many of our tuna, salmon, ready-to-eat or shellfish products can be found at Costco Wholesale, Wal-Mart, Zellers, Safeway, Co-op, Atlantic Co-op, Giant Tiger, London Drugs, Longo's, Capers, Quality Foods, The Garden Basket, Fiesta Farms, Sobey's, Price Choppers, Metro, Thrifty's and IGA stores to name a few. Sockeye salmon is a rich red colour, ideal when you want your dish to look spectacular. For everyday sandwiches, salmon cakes or omelets, use economical pink salmon. You can choose our Г¢ Ђ œno salt addedГ¢ Ђ or Г¢ Ђ œskinless and bonelessГ¢ Ђ pink salmon if you prefer. Albacore tuna is the whitest in colour, and is referred to as Г¢ Ђ œwhiteГ¢ Ђ tuna. It is the one to choose for sushi or special salads. Yellowfin and Skipjack are the other most common types of tuna. These mild flavoured varieties are labeled Г¢ Ђ œlightГ¢ Ђ because of their colour. Ocean's Albacore comes in solid and flaked packs while our Light tuna comes in chunk and flaked. Use solid and chunk tuna in salads and casseroles, flaked tuna makes sandwiches a snap! For sodium reduced diets, Ocean's also offers a Low Sodium Chunk Light Tuna and low sodium solid white tuna as well.
