ODIM Brooke Ocean is a leading manufacturer of advanced data collection platforms and launch/recovery systems. Products include the Moving Vessel Profiler (MVP), an automated, free-fall data collection system which can collect CTD, sound velocity and other data from a moving vessel. MVP is capable of collecting near vertical profiles to 190 m at ship speeds of 18 knots, 300 m at 12 knots, 1,450 m at 5 knots and 2,200 m at 2 knots.
Brooke Ocean also manufactures the SeaHorse, a moored profiling system which harnesses wave power as an energy source for moving up and down a mooring wire. Other products include cable handling hardware, including custom winch and metering sheave systems.
Brooke Ocean also supplies launch/recovery systems for AUVs, towed bodies, atmospheric diving suits and submarine pod posting. New products being introduced at OI include the Free Fall Cone
Penetrometer (FFCPT) and Laser Optical Plankton Counter (LOPC).
