Judy has more than 15 years of utility finance experience and has represented NTPC as lead policy witness in rate hearings for over 10 years. Prior to joining NTPC, Judy spent 11 years with the Government of the Northwest Territories. She brings her northern knowledge to the management team decision process. Judy understands process improvement and continually looks for opportunities to improve the company’s performance. Under her watch as CFO, the Corporation has grown its assets by 65%, nearly doubled the equity, and increased renewable generation by 25%.

Michael has extensive experience providing human resource solutions for remote areas including communities with severe recruiting challenges across Canada. Son of an arctic pilot, Michael returned to the North as head of HR for NTPC. He started in IT over 15 years ago and has been a senior HR services provider for over 10 years. Mike understands that NTPC’s people are the most important part of the organization. A key goal is to help more people in the NWT obtain the skills needed to work for NTPC in the future.

Dave Duncan is an electrical engineer with over 30 years of experience in the electric and gas utility industry. Prior to joining NTPC in 2012, Dave spent most of his career working for Consumers Energy Company, an electric and natural gas utility. Projects included transmission and distribution assignments in south America and southeast Europe. Dave brings proven project management skills in construction, operation and maintenance of transmission and distribution facilities.

Jay joined NTPC in 2013. He brings over 20 years of experience in the utility environment, 13 years in management, a technical background and a graduate degree in business to our operations. Jay’s business acumen and public business sense were honed through board membership in various power acquisition, organizational development and utility operations. He brings a collaborative leadership approach to position the organization for success though success of NTPC employees.
