Northern Waterworks was incorporated in 1997 to fill an urgent need for the provision of client-sensitive water and wastewater treatment services in Northern Ontario. For over 15 years, Northern Waterworks has provided Municipal , First Nation and Industrial clients with cost-effective services that focus on the specific needs of the client.

From the beginning, our plan has been focused on providing superior and cost -effective water treatment solutions for our clients. For more than a decade we have successfully managed multiple municipal facilities. Our team is eager to show your community the high level of service we provide and how effortless the transition can be.

Because the company already had experience working with many First Nations communities, Leblanc isn’t overly surprised the company won the contract but, in the last 15 years, NWI has gone from one local project and three staff to running 35 facilities and working with all First Nations across the province, which is still difficult for him to believe.

Northern Waterworks recently expanded its management team to provide for the continued development of the company both in the number of communities it services and in the services it provides. “From the beginning, our plan has been focused on providing superior and cost –effective water treatment solutions for our clients.” NWI President and CEO Dennis LeBlanc.
