Noront Steel Limited was established in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada in 1945, in response to Northern Ontario's growing demand for fabricated steel products. Noront is a full service steel fabrication firm with the experience and ability to ensure all of the projects we engage in are engineered, detailed, fabricated and erected ON TIME and WITHIN BUDGET!

Noront Steel was established in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada in response to the growing demand for fabricated steel products by the area's mining industry. In 1945 Mr. James Nemis and a small group of his International Nickel Company (INCO) co-workers recognized this growing demand and began fabricating steel furnaces in a small garage in the city’s West End. The demand for their products continued to expand, so Mr. Nemis and his team decided to take the plunge and commit themselves to their steel fabricating business full time.
