Norcada provides custom design and fabrication of our scientific MEMS devices to meet our customer’s specific requirements. Such custom designs include non-standard sizes, thinner membranes, multi-window arrays, and windows with patterned electrodes.

Norcada designs and manufactures MEMS and thin film devices for a wide range of scientific applications. These products are fabricated using our proprietary membrane platform technology and are sold world wide to high-tech companies, national labs and universities in more than 30 countries.

Norcada manufactures single crystal silicon membrane devices for X-Ray diffraction and a range of other applications. Our standard products come with two difference membrane thicknesses, 1.0µm and 2.0µm. The membrane is supported by a 300µm thick silicon frame.

Norcada develops and manufactures MEMS thin film devices for a wide range of scientific applications.

Norcada manufactures holey TEM nitride windows for researchers who need micron-size pores for their TEM work. The holey TEM nitride windows are the same as the regular TEM nitride windows but with micron-size holes regularly arrayed on the membrane.
