Come celebrate the uniqueness of an ancient culture with the Okanagan people at the Nk'mip Desert & Heritage Centre! The centre shares the rich heritage and fragile desert landscapes that the Okanagan people have lived on for a millenia. Experience our culture though exploring our visitor's centre, guided and self-guided tours through 3 km of desert trails, visit our village area with pit houses, tule mats and a sweat lodge! We offer our visitors exciting day and evening programs, and special events throughout the season. Our most exciting program is the "Rattlesnake Pit-tagging program" - join our biologists and take part in this unique conservation program! Our Coyote's Gift Boutique offers unique First Nation gifts, clothing and books!
