Description
Accessibility Make the Most of Your Visit to Niagara Parks Niagara Parks strives to promote accessibility for all our visitors and is committed to ensuring all of our visitors have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. We offer many beautiful and exciting venues that are accessible to our visitors with disabilities. This page will assist you in planning your visit to Niagara Parks. Best Time to Visit The peak tourist season at Niagara Parks is between late June and early September and during those months between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. our properties can be very busy. If crowds and congestion are a concern, you may want to plan your visit outside of these times. Parking Convenient parking is available at all of our popular attractions and restaurants. When visitors with an Accessible Parking Permit pay to park at any parking lot owned by Niagara Parks, they can re-park on the same day at any other Niagara Parks paid parking lot at no charge, as long as they retain their original parking receipt. Admission Please note that many of our historic buildings are over 100 years old "“ while most are accessible some areas still need to be upgraded to create full accessibility. Discounted admission is provided at several attractions where full accessibility is not available. This discount does not apply if the customer is purchasing an admission package that is already discounted such as the Niagara Falls and Great Gorge Adventure Pass and Winter Magic Pass. Niagara Parks welcomes people with disabilities who are accompanied by a support person. Admission fees for accessibility support persons (when accompanying a person with a disability) who specifically identify themselves as support persons shall be waived at all Niagara Parks attractions. Tour groups with Accessibility needs are encouraged to contact our Group Sales department prior to their visit to assist them to plan their schedule. Visitors with Assistive Devices and Support Animals Persons with disabilities are permitted and encouraged to use their own personal assistive devices to access our facilities and goods and services (such as wheelchairs and walkers). A limited number of wheelchairs are available for the visiting public at Table Rock Centre (rentals), Floral Showhouse, and Butterfly Conservatory. For more information contact the Executive Assistant, Corporate Services at (905) 356-2241, ext. 214, TTY (Number to be announced) or accessibility@niagaraparks.com. Niagara Parks is committed to welcoming persons with disabilities who are accompanied by a guide dog or other service animals. Persons using guide dogs or other service animals are welcomed in all areas of Niagara Parks that are open to the public.
