Description
The PSG is an independent and self supporting organization run by volunteers. All events are organized by volunteers who give their own time to provide PSG members with timely educational opportunities to advance their professional development. Be they professional or personal, there are many reasons to become a PSG volunteer. Volunteers have the opportunity to develop skills that they may not have had a chance to develop in their regular jobs, meet fellow members of the pharmaceutical industry and expand their professional and personal networks.
She brings to the table 14 years of experience in Generic Drugs, Medical Devices, Cosmetics and Natural Health Products. She has worked in various companies and as a consultant and has dealt with various product lines such as endoscopes, Dialysis Machines, Importation and distribution of all classes of regulated products as well Service Departments for the Medical field. Currently, she is a National Director for RA/QA in Canada's leading national full service and value add distributor for Medical, Surgical and laboratory products - Cardinal Health Canada.
Our organization is run by a board of directors who make important decisions about how the organization is run and its future outlook. The board consists of top industry professionals who have a substantial amount of experience in the industry. This board meets once a month to discuss issues related to the organization.
The PSG (Pharmaceutical Sciences Group) is a non-profit Canadian organization dedicated to offering training and development for individuals in the pharmaceutical industry since 1971. Our mission statement, "Advancing the Professional Training and Development of our Members" is reflected in all of the ongoing activities of the group. We offer a host of services including: training, membership, free seminars and special events, job postings & an annual job fair, an annual conference, informative publications, networking opportunities, and much more!
