The Nanaimo Conservatory of Music was founded in 1977. Now operating from its new facility at 375 Selby Street the Conservatory will continue to provide high quality musical instruction to children and adults from Central Vancouver Island.

The Conservatory has been offering music lessons in Nanaimo for over 30 years, but without much visibility. Our media partners will help us get the message out about how great the study of music is for your children and for the community! Visibility for media partners is based on the level of contribution.

Anne has taught Suzuki piano students from age three to adult in private, group and workshop settings. She has completed all levels of Suzuki piano teacher-training and has been the director of three Suzuki music schools in Hamilton and Ottawa. As well, Anne has experience in preschool, school and college settings and specializes in teaching children with special needs.

Through a cooperative relationship between the teacher, the parent and the child these programs provide an enjoyable learning experience both in the studio and at home as well as a unique opportunity for parents to develop a special relationship with their child through the mutual experience of learning to play an instrument.
