My wife and I built a home in Muskoka while living in Houston, Texas. We entrusted the interior design work to the professionals at Muskoka Living. Not only did they help us select beautiful furnishings, they coordinated the paint colors, bathroom surfaces and fixtures and floor coverings as well. Our designer interfaced well with our contractor and made the process a pleasure rather than the usual nightmare. The final product is lovely. The furnishings are exactly as we had envisioned and the color schemes are perfect. Without the professionals at Muskoka Living, the job would have been insurmountable. How could we possibly pull together a whole new house out in the country (hours from where I live) without spending days and days driving back and forth? We sat down with the professionals at Muskoka Living and they explained their value proposition. We collectively reviewed the plans for our new home and we explained the "look and feel" we wanted. By the time we were finished our meeting, we knew we were in good hands. From time to time throughout the construction phase we would get updates on how things were going at our construction site, and at appropriate times we would visit suppliers in Toronto and the fantastic Muskoka Living showroom in Port Carling to see firsthand recommended selections before we finalized our choices. The process was exciting, simple and painless. Obviously a huge amount of time had been spent on the detail and all we had to do was say "that looks awesome!" Muskoka Living ordered everything and stored each item in their warehouse while construction was underway. The house was finally completed and it was time to move in. Muskoka Living transformed the house into a home in less than two days! Try doing that by yourself! One day the house was completely empty and the next day, it was full of furnishings right down to the bed covers, wines glasses and cutlery! Everything looked sensational and we didn't spend our whole summer unpacking boxes. The whole Muskoka Living crew are amazing and both Annette and I enthusiastically recommend them to our family and friends. We even employed them to furnish our home in Manitoba - with the same results! Mark and Annette Lee Muskoka Living offers the consumer/individual a special retail experience that no other can match. The store is impeccable and the design services are hard to beat. I am often surprised that no other retailers can match the Muskoka Living experience. I keep going back there because they're the best at what they do. They have outdone everyone else.
