Modo is the established carsharing leader in Metro Vancouver. We’ve been working with municipalities for over 10 years, shaping green building by-laws. Because of our experience and vested interest in the local economy, developers can trust that we know what we’re talking about when it comes to carsharing. We are a Vancouver-based, not-for-profit and member-owned carshare. We're accredited with the Better Business Bureau and are consistently rated A+.

You pay by the hour and kilometre. If you don’t use a Modo car, you don’t get billed. For over 16 years now, we’ve been driven by the honest belief that carsharing just makes sense.

At Modo, we've been helping Metro Vancouver build a more sustainable region for almost 15 years. We have over a decade of experience working with municipalities, developers, architectural firms and property management companies to make multi-housing dwellings, commercial and mixed-use buildings greener, attracting buyers and benefiting the community.

Founded in 1997, Modo was the first carsharing co-operative in North America and the first English-speaking carshare in the world. We're also a founding member of the international CarSharing Association and a signatory to the industry's Code of Ethics . We're accredited with the Better Business Bureau and are consistently rated A+.
