Milroy Engineering Ltd. has spent the last ten years expanding a business based on customer satisfaction and results. Built on a desire to increase efficiency and profitability of clients through automation and technical support M.E.L. has expanded into a producer of high-end proprietary products as well as CNC machine shop components. M.E.L.'s blend of engineering expertise, on site fabrication and machining has always been appreciated by clients wishing to cut costs and reduce lead times on machinery.

M.E.L. did excellent engineering work on our flagship product, the Scatmat, which gives trespassing pets a mild training shock. The original mat covered our conductive 'zapping' wires with a perforated vinyl layer that was expensive to manufacture and difficult for consumers to clean. M.E.L. redesigned the mat and developed a new production process and machine, trimming both labor and materials costs by half. M.E.L. also participated in the development of an ultra-low power battery-based proximity sensing system to detect the pet's presence.

Paul comes from Alberta and brings 16 years of machining, manufacturing and company management experience. Aside from a broad range of expertise including 5 axis machining he also possesses experience in 3D modeling, jigs and fixtures and plays a MEAN guitar.
