MiHR, the Mining Industry Human Resources Council, is an independent non‑profit that gathers and shares labour market data, research and analytics for Canada’s mining and metals sector. It works with mining companies, unions, contractors, educators and Indigenous groups to identify workforce challenges, develop training initiatives and inform policy. Based in Kanata, Ontario, MiHR provides reports, dashboards and a career‑seeker portal to support a skilled, inclusive and sustainable mining workforce across the country.
