QUALIFICATIONS: As a self-motivated and service oriented individual, you possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, coupled with an attention to detail. You will have knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, physiology, and disease processes. The ability to work independently with minimum supervision and demonstrated initiative are essential. You must be a graduate of an accredited program for Health Record Technicians/Administrators and hold Certification with the CCHRA. Previous hospital experience in ICD10-CA-CCI coding and abstracting is essential as is knowledge of CIHI's Guidelines/Principles. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: MedEKS Technologies Incorporated is looking for qualified HRA's and HRT's to share in our commitment to provide high quality health information services to our hospital clients. We offer opportunities to code and/or abstract health records on and off site. Our work includes Inpatient, Day Surgery, Emergency, and Clinic records.
