As a result of mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, growth, leadership changes and others, there are times when organizations need to release employees. When they do so, our company provides onsite support to HR, training for managers on the termination process (do’s and don’ts) and one to one support for exiting employees at the time of the termination notice. For the leaving employee, we follow up with a range of career transition services that include career planning and assessment, using a range of psychometric tools, resume development, job research techniques, how to use social media for networking and job search, interviewing prep and practice, negotiating an offer, entrepreneurship and consulting. In addition to our personal coaching services, we provide seminars and an online resource tool. This online service, iCareerManager, gives clients access to assessment tools, job leads internet spider and a myriad of career resource information.

In some situations group programs or career centers are the preferred method of providing career transition services. Our firm has experience and a range of programs and ideas to serve clients in this way.

The Company: Access Pipeline Inc. ("Access") www.accesspipeline.com is owned by Devon NEC Corporation and MEG Energy Corp., each with an undivided 50% working interest. Access is responsible for all activities of the Joint Venture which has been formed to construct, operate and own the pipeline system assets. The system has been developed to primarily accommodate steam assisted gravity drainage heavy oil producing facilities, owned by Devon NEC Corporation and MEG in the Christina Lake area of Northeast Alberta, where three heavy oil production facilities are connected to the pipeline. Formed in 2005, AccessPipeline builds and operates state-of-the-art pipelines that provide access to markets for their Owners. In recent years, Access has grown from its initial startup of 20 employees to employing over 180 employees presently. A major expansion of the pipeline is underway adding a 42" Blend line from Christina Lake to the Sturgeon Terminal. Access has a growing, fast-paced work environment. They build and operate safe and reliable pipeline systems that provide access to markets for their Owners. They are a forward-thinking company grounded in honesty and open communication.
