Description

Norman D. Whyte is a Marine Engineer and Principal of technical services company in Vancouver, Canada. Norman, for over 30 years, held increasingly senior technical and management appointments with well known British, Canadian and US shipyards such as Cammel Laird (England), Davie Shipbuilding (Canada), Burrard Dry Dock (Canada), and recently as a Chief Engineer with Todd Pacific Shipyards in Seattle (USA). He served five years as an advisory board member for the Engineering Faculty of the British Columbia Institute of Technology.

Lim Soon Heng , PEng, has managerial experience in ship building and repair of vessels of all capacity. Soon Heng managed the feasibility study, planning, construction and commissioning of Keppel's Tuas Shipyard in Singapore. He has toured many shipyards in Japan, Taiwan, Phillipines, Portugal, Sweden and UK and acted as consultant to the UN and government related companies in Malaysia. He is currently promoting a concept which he calls "ShiPark".

ISMA, founded in 1991, is an association of ship and crew managers bound by a strict code of management standards, the ISMA Code.

Martin Yeatman , P.Eng, has extensive experience in corrosion and fouling protection of ships and marine structures. His other areas of expertise include marine technical consulting and technical surveys.
