Description

Manitoba Health and Manitoba eHealth have partnered with Canada Health Infoway (Infoway) to accelerate the adoption and implementation of electronic medical records (EMRs) by community-based physicians in primary and specialist care clinics. The EMR Adoption Program facilitates the implementation and use of Manitoba-approved EMR systems across Manitoba. Manitoba eHealth will reimburse up to 70% of eligible EMR implementation costs as well as two years of eligible operating costs, up to a fixed maximum. Eligible costs must be incurred after April 1, 2009 and include hardware, software, implementation and change management services.
