PRIMARY PRODUCTS

Established in 1979, MALLEY INDUSTRIES INC. is a manufacturer and distributor of specialty vehicles. Malley Industries Inc. specializes in the manufacture of advanced and basic life support Type ll ambulances, rescue units for fire departments, specialized police vehicles and vehicle conversions for the physically challenged.

SPECIALIZED PRODUCTS

Malley Industries designs and manufactures custom-built vehicles for a variety of government and private sector organizations. Some of these include: Hazmat Emergency Command Posts for Coast Guard Canada; mobile laboratories for Environment Canada, the New Brunswick Environment Department and the Mexican Government; custom-designed command post for Emergency Measures Organization; surveillance vans for insurance fraud investigation firms; as well as commercial vehicle enforcement vans and prisoner transporter vans for the Solicitor General’s Office and Corrections Canada.

COMMERCIAL VEHICLE CONVERSIONS

Malley Industries designs and manufactures a variety of specialized conversions for commercial applications such as promotional vans for restaurants, mobile offices, contractor’s equipment vans, display vans and specialized truck caps. Another component of our manufacturing operation is vehicle outfitting for national fleet leasing companies and automotive dealerships throughout Canada.

VEHICLE ELECTRONICS

Malley Industries supplies and installs all forms of emergency vehicle electronics and specialized vehicle lighting, including light bars, specialized alternators, alarm systems and public address systems. Our staff of technicians are equipped to respond to almost any electrical requirements in specialized vehicles. We are a distribution and installation center for such suppliers as Whelen, Code 3,
Weldon Technologies, Vanner, Federal Signal and D&R Electronics

MOBLITY EQUIPMENT

Malley Industries is one of Canada’s largest vehicle mobility equipment dealer/installer. We represent such manufacturers as Ricon, Braun, VMI, Van- Action, Vision, Sure-Grip, EZ-Lock, Q’Straint, Sure-Lok, Bruno, MPD, etc. As a registered motor vehicle dealer, we can provide turnkey vehicles or modify our customer’s vehicles with raised roofs, raised doors and a variety of other specialized modifications. We work closely with rehab centers, occupational therapists, driver assessors and new car dealers to best equip our clients’ vehicles.

MARKETS

Although our primary market has been Canada’s Atlantic Region, we have specialized products in all of Canada and export to the Islands of St. Pierre and Miquelon, Mexico, Germany, USA, St. Kitts and Ireland. Currently, we are expanding to include a broad range of world markets.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

The quality system used by Malley Industries Inc is based upon, and is certified to the ISO 9001-2000 series of quality standards. The system has been developed to be generic so as to provide a sound basis for the control of quality irrespective of the type of product or service being produced or offered. Advanced Product Quality Planning activities ensure that each project being considered is subjected to an extensive review prior to entering into a contract for supply. By following this philosophy, we are able to ensure ourselves, as well as our prospective customer, of our ability to deliver precisely the product desired.

Ford Motor Company QVM and FTQP Programs

Malley Industries Inc. is an official member of Ford Motor Company’s QVM (Qualified Vehicle Modifier) Program. This voluntary program is restricted to second-stage manufacturers. Malley Industries is also a certified FTQP
(Ford Truck Quality Program) manufacturer, the only one in Atlantic Canada.

National Mobility Equipment Dealer Association Accredited "QAP"

Malley Industries is the first and only vehicle modifier in Canada to earn the National Mobility Equipment Dealer Association’s (NMEDA) "QAP" Designation. The NMEDA Quality Assurance Program is an internationally recognized accreditation program for the adaptive mobility equipment industry. Vehicle modifiers who participate in the QAP are held to the highest industry standards in all areas including administration, employee training and third party certification and compliance to National Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. Finally they are required to undergo an inspection/audit process twice annually by an independent engineering firm to ensure compliance to the NMEDA Guidlines

Quality Awards

In 1999, Malley Industries was recognized for its quality manufacturing through being awarded the K.C. Irving Quality Award from the New Brunswick Department of Economic Development. In 2000, Malley Industries Inc. was awarded the Greater Moncton Excellence Award for Innovation. In 2002 Malley Industries was awarded The Greater Moncton Excellence in Business Award. In 2002 Malley Industries’ President, Terry Malley, was picked as one of Atlantic Canada’s top 50 CEOs.
