Karen is originally from the Interlake region of Manitoba and has worked in various roles during her time in Calgary including bookkeeping, property management and various administrative responsibilities with the top oil and gas engineering consulting firm. As a business owner she has extensive experience in residential real estate renovations and management. Since Makena’s inception she has owned and managed properties across Canada. Karen has a Certificate from the Career College in Calgary. In addition to sharing the full time duties of running their business, Karen enjoys travelling, camping and all animals.

Makena Investment Group Inc. ("Makena") is a family owned real estate investment company with offices in Calgary, Alberta and our new head office in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
