Marine + Earth Geosciences (M+EG) provides geotechnical expertise to onshore/offshore infrastructure and oil and gas projects around the world. Comprised of permanent and contract staff working out of the main office in Richmond, BC and from project offices in different parts of the world, M+EG offers a blend of experience and qualifications suitable for a wide range of geoscience projects.

M+EG teamed with Hatch Mott MacDonald (HMM) to provide support on reviewing design submittals required from EGRT Construction (SNC Lavalin joint venture). M+EG worked closely with MOTI and the Seismic Review Panel to provide review input to the seismic design strategy, interim and final design submittals as well as general input related to RFI/RFCs, etc and construction inspection.

M+EG is an employee-owned company presently with 18 full-time staff and a number of additional contract personnel. Our offices are based in Richmond, BC; our geotechnical testing laboratory is also in Richmond, within the same business park.

MEG Consulting Limited (M+EG) is a privately-owned consulting company specializing in geotechnical engineering and applied geophysics. We are involved in numerous large projects both locally and overseas.

The SFPR is a 40-km highway running along the south side of the Fraser River which extends from Deltaport Way in South Delta to 176th Street in Surrey. The objective of the SFPR is to provide an E-W express connection to major highway networks in the Lower Mainland of BC (Highways 1, 15, 91, 99 and to the Golden Ears Bridge). M+EG was retained by the Project Concessionaire (Fraser Transportation Group - FTGP) for the review of preload/surcharge performance and to provide general geotechnical input to settlement-related construction activities.
