Yearly manufacturers' service training courses keep them current on all the latest updates and upgrades to each piece of equipment we carry. They know the small engine and outdoor power equipment field - it's not just a sideline for them.

We currently have an opening for an experienced Small Engine Mechanic with the following abilities: Self-starter who is punctual, can work independently, with good communications skills and a positive attitude. Good experience in repairing and servicing both 2-Cycle and 4-Cycle engines powering lawnmowers, grass trimmers, chain saws, leaf blowers and cutoff saws. The applicant should also be experienced in repair of zero-turn and out-front style commercial grass-cutting equipment up to 35HP. Preference will be given to applicants with experience on the Stihl and Walker brands. Good experience with electrical trouble-shooting is an asset. Must be able to rapidly diagnose equipment problems; find appropriate repair parts utilizing in-house computer programs; accurately document parts required on work orders and efficiently execute the most practical repair in a timely manner. Must be able to work closely with the General Manager to ensure equipment is maintained/repaired in the highest level to ensure excellent customer satisfaction. Must be willing to learn new skills where applicable. Heavy lifting / Assembly / Assistance in other areas of work may be required.
