"Not the typical accountant" Rob applies his intellect in a fast paced, energetic, analytic and doing manner. He enjoys dealing with diversity and adopts an aggressive, pushing and strong approach to seeking conclusions. A highly intelligent and responsive individual, Rob rises to challenges and makes a strong contribution working with complex issues or environments. Rob obtained his Chartered Accountant's designation in Ottawa, worked for 16 years in Edmonton returning to Ottawa in 1995. In addition to building and managing a full service public accounting practice, Rob has held local and national leadership roles in public accounting firms and Institutes of Chartered Accountants, chaired Municipal Advisory Committees, and has held leadership roles with various local, regional and national not for profit and Professional Organizations. Rob has acted as a sales consultant for Franchise Companies; assisted practitioners in selling, merging or restructuring their accounting practices; provided litigation support and expert witness testimony; done extensive work in design, development and delivery of professional training programs. Rob has been elected a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, received a distinguished service award from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta, a Community Builders Award from the United Way of Edmonton. Rob completed the Directors Education Program offered by the Institute of Corporate Directors and Rotman School of Business and is entitled to use the ICD.D designation.
